What are your favourite albums to lose your lucidity to? For me, it's Kanye's MBDTF, no question. Completely encapsulates the melancholy euphoria of a drunken night out. Dream pop works beautifully too.

I've only got one friend with whom I associate drinking with music. For some reason he only enjoy Karma by Pharoah Sanders when he's drinking (or getting influenced by other stuff), so The Creator Has a Masterplan have sort of become our drinking anthem. I also recall a lot of soul, funk, hard bop and Bob Dylan

And Loveless is my prefered album choice for when I get home from a drunk party. Tried with The Tired Sounds of Stars of the Lid recently, but fell asleep immediately

Depends who I'm with. Disco is sometimes great, as are grime and really fucking ignorant hip-hop. I always tend to go back to Blonde on Blonde in certain company too. Nice thread idea.

I don't drink, but if I did I imagine it'd be Is This It and Up The Bracket.
