One thing I've noticed is that I make too many polls.
So now I'm making one more.
In your opinion, is The Kinks' debut album better, or The Beatles'? Both are rock n' roll records (Please Please Me was released in 1963, and Kinks a year later.) but take a slightly different approach. Please Please Me is more "poppy" in places, where Kinks sometimes goes for distortiona and riffs. Both have their good moments, and some terrible ones.
I overall prefer Kinks slightly more. I find it to be more enjoyable than Please Please Me.
P.S. One more thing I've noticed is that somehow the polls are almost always related to The Beatles. A side effect of my (previous) Beatles fanboyism? Maybe.
I hate any pre-Revolver Beatles and I have yet to hear a Kinks album that I especially care for (though I really like a couple songs that I've heard from Arthur, so I should probably give that one a full listen).
"Please Please Me", but I like both. I don't think any of the two albums have terrible moments, but there are definitely tracks that stand out much more than others!

Beatles are the better band IMO, but the Kinks had more energy and creative integrity out of the gate. _________________ My voodoo master, my machine, baby, will not stand in line...
