This thread will self-destruct after the message is delivered, so pay careful attention to the information contained therein. Enjoy the complimentary cheese platter, I hope it is to your taste.

I am putting together a spy-themed playlist for a tabletop game and could use some track recommendations. I have plenty of Mingusy jazz in there already, but if you think of something vitally amazing along those lines then let me know.

I'm looking for a bit of tonal variety, from film noir to action-filled caper. Some slightly trippy David Lynch type stuff would be great too. To give you an idea, here are some key tracks so far:

I have got the Perfect album for you. If you're looking for film noir type stuff, this album even has a new version of the Theme From Double Indemnity, as well as other film noirs. As well as Theme from Perry Mason and so forth. And they're an awesome Guitar band. All their albums sound like soundtracks from Spy movies. Especially 60s spy movies.

Just making sure Mingus' "Boogie Stop Shuffle" is on your list already. I've always thought it sounded like a Henry Mancini-type spy theme.

Miles Davis' Ascenseur Pour L'Echafaud (Elevator to the Gallows) soundtrack is the most noirish-sounding classic jazz album I know of (French crime film).

Some of the tracks on Portishead's first two albums have a 60s soundtrack flavor to them.
