Example: A link for Eric Clapton could go to Derek and the Dominoes, The Yardbirds, Cream, and himself.

If other people wanna know what other bands there favorite artists are in, they could click on a link on the band's page and find the list. I saw something similar in Rate Your Music, and I think this site could use that.

On a side note, all of these bands are good. Because they had the Clap-man.

I think a little line that says "Also a member of these bands:" that unobtrusive could be educational and interesting. Maybe near the "Members also like:" line or something. But I wouldn't put it real high on the priority list.

Neither would I. There are a lot of better things that AM's working on. I'm just saying this would be a nice little add on.

It'd be helpful for some people, but for most it would lead to either crappy supergroups or nothing, so I don't know how much actual use it would have. Also it would get crazy with Broken Social Scene people, and maybe it would help me figure out everything Josh Homme has been involved in once and for all.

on that note, I'd be really scared to try this with polyphonic spree

I like the general idea. We already have parent artists which act as a container for the same performer, so technically it wouldn't be difficult to add a band's members in the same sort of way. However, maintaining the data will be the biggest problem and it will be a big job to catch up on the 10,000 or so artists that are already on the site. I'll add to the list.

Yes, but are occasional collaborations/duos/guest appearances etc. to be included? The list will get long.

No. Just the average band members.

It seems a bit stupid to leave out the good band members and just list the average ones.
