Everyone here knows that i'm a huge fan of the Strokes. Is this It ? is my favorite album of all times. Room on Fire is in my top 20, First impressions on Earth and Angles are in my top 100.
... but unfortunately this is already the biggest disappointment of the year ... i just wanna cry right now 😢
well actually it's not that bad, but we're used to great music from the band 🙁

Definitely a few weak tracks, but I like it more than Phrazes

Listened to it once all the way through. Though I did have it more in the background. I thought it was pretty good. Continues in the direction they went to with Angles. No "revolution" in sound, but it is distinguishable from their previous stuff.
Will have to listen to it again to give a rating, so far I'm thinking, better than First Impressions, and maybe I'll end up liking it as much as Angles. Not as good as their first two.

I actually really enjoyed it. I think we can all resign ourselves to the fact they will never release another "Is This It". Continuing down the road Angles started. Interesting to say the least.
