Which artist is better going into 2013? It seems like Daft Punk is struggling to stay relevant in the electronic culture, but still has 2 solid LPs. Is Quality better than Quantity? Can you just not make an album for 13 years and still be better than Daft Punk? Which 2013 album will be better?

My approach is to judge a band by their best work, so quantity doesn't come into it. By that measure, it's Avalanches for me.

They're both good in different ways.
I'd sit down and listen to the Avalanches, but Daft Punk is insane at parties.
