Well, I'm pretty sure it was Naples who thought of the poll idea, and JJ is poking fun at the concept, and you seem to be taking the whole thing seriously. Here's what I find ironic though: If these threads are pointless, why do you feel the need to respond to them? Also, I hate to say this, because it means Naples has a point, but isn't a tournament (such as the one you're running) merely an extended poll or a series of polls really?

Naples only point, I'm sure, was to have something to do on this forum. You see, forums are about discussing random shit. It's not about making Earth-shaking policy decisions, or in the mode of this site to ACTUALLY objectively determine the "best ever albums". Contrary to JJ's line of thinking, that's all subjective. Does that mean there should be no relevant discussion on these boards? No. Stop thinking that just because you don't want to talk about something or have a particular poll, no one else does.
