To start with: My favourite Icehouse song.

Icehouse initially started as Flowers in 1979 before changing their name to Icehouse after the success of their first album. Since then, Icehouse has released some of Australia's most well-known and successful songs. of course, the albums that accompany these singles are also of merit.

Their 1987 release Man Of Colours contained some of their best work. Personally, this was the first vinyl I purchased and I treasure it as a relic of 1980s Australian new wave.

And the unofficial anthem for Australia, 'Great Southern Land' came from the 1982 album Primitive Man.

I'll leave it there but there is more to discover with this band.

Did I nominate Cabaret Voltaire?

I haven't actually being following matches at all the multiple account voting. Harkan have you considered having opening voting for this tournament as well?

I don't think it's been an issue in this tournament. I think the Hospice/MBDTF thing was due to extremely strong feelings for the album from users on both sides - not that that should be any excuse for rigging the voting - but there hasn't been anything to suggest that a similar thing has been occurring in the PPNW tournament whatsoever.

^^This.

That multiple account voting appeared to affect just one tie so far and that was in the other tournament, plus the accounts doing that have since been banned and the IP addresses are known to AM and possibly the mods meaning if they do create more accounts they can be banned quickly. Less users have been voting in the PPNW tournament, while that's unfortunate and more participants would be better, there's no sign whatsoever that vote rigging is occurring here.

Anyway, need to check out both artists more before I vote.

You are probably right, still there is definitely a stigma about voting results now (at least for me) that's hard to overlook

Listened to what you posted harkan, and although I found some charm in it (do you know It's Immaterial? very similar, only better), I'm sorry to say it is no way near beating the sole glory of "Nag Nag Nag", let alone what everything else Cabaret Voltaire have accomplished. Sorry, man, nice nomination, but I'll go with the opponent. Just too strong.

Australian nostalgia I think more than anything.

Thankyou for your reasoning as well. Nice to know why I am losing some matches. And I might have to listen to Nag Nag Nag.
