Pretty new to the forum, thought I'd see how this goes.
Do you ever find yourself surrounded by people who all claim to enjoy a certain artist, but you just don't see it?
I can't see why anyone would ever listen to the Dead Kennedys, I listened to Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables after my (also music-loving) friend recommended it to me, but I thought it was horrible. I've never met anyone else who thinks so.
I also find myself subjected to a lot of Danny Brown, who I'm not too fond of either.

His voice grates on me. I know it was early 80s (1980? 81?) and I always try to listen to music in context, especially when I'm being critical of it, but I thought it was just repetitive, it didn't seem to really go anywhere as an album, ya know? It bored me. I'm a fan of minimal production, if it's done well, and I don't think it was on that album. I guess I can see what you mean by saying it's repetitive but your the first person I've ever heard say that they don't like Biafra's voice. I personally love it myself.
