This. I don't get the huge boner everyone has for the US version of this album. "Red House" fucking owns all of the US exclusives.

As much as I prefer the US version, the songs on the UK version are good stand alone songs. Anyway, I hail Jimi as much as the next guy. Currently #27 on my chart. This contains so much psychedelia, hard rock and blues I might even faint. _________________

Firstly, let me just say that Doolittle then this...
Anyway, I have the version that has all songs from the UK and American versions, so it has the American version then the rest of the UK songs. All I can say is all of those 17 songs are incredible, not one weak one. Some of my favourites are: Purple Haze, Manic Depression, May This Be Love, The Wind Cries Mary, Fire, Are You Experience? and Remember as the stand-outs, but all the songs are great.
