Ah damn, so difficult. Leaning towards The Gun Club at the moment, but I'm gonna have a listen to both bands over the next couple of days and then decide.

Haha. We'll have to agree to disagree. I think the Gun Club had a great sound and influence on bands I love, but just don't enjoy the songwriting anywhere near as much as Echo & The Bunnymen at their best. But I'm also a relatively new fan of The Gun Club, and have been a huge fan of The Bunnymen for decades
