thanks for the feedback, I'll try not to turn too crazy! I've had a little breather the past couple of weeks, and apart from the liver damage, I have recharged my batteries. The bankruptcy thing is something different though.

Kinda hard to tell, 'cause it seems to be about so many things. I've been developing the story in my mind for 3 years now, and I sometimes feel like it's gotten too long, and sometimes I feel like it is too short. Not until I had decided on most of the story did I realize that I could even make a Beatles reference in it because it somehow linked with a certain song, and now I think of it as just one big Beatles reference stretched out, with details and such, even though I didn't even know about The Beatles when I started it. The song was "Paperback Writer", and my story could be summarized well with these words:
"It's a dirty story of a dirty man,
And his clinging wife doesn't understand.
His son is working for the Daily Mail,
It's a steady job, but he wants to be a paperback writer"
(The son working for the Daily Mail was a thing I had to add in the story after I realized that the story could be linked to those first two lines.)
I'd also like this sentence to appear on the copyright page, as a joke:
Oops, I told you some of the secrets I should have kept! ๐ซข
But anyway, I have changed the title of that book MANY MANY MANY times. The cover I've had in mind for a very long time, though:
