Hello, I'm in the process of creating an 'Epic' playlist. By that I mean songs that are considered to be epics. The problem is that I don't have many songs on the playlist and some of them aren't really that epic.
The playlist goes something like this:
Barry Ryan - Eloise
Richard Harris - MacArthur Park
Derek and The Dominoes - Layla
Led Zeppelin - Stairway To Heaven
Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody
The Smiths - How Soon Is Now?
Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit
Jeff Buckley - Grace
The Divine Comedy - Charge
The Verve - Bittersweet Symphony
Radiohead - Paranoid Android
Neutral Milk Hotel - Oh Comely
Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks 😄
EDIT: Is there any songs I should remove?

How are you defining 'epic' in this thread? Is it decided by song length, reputation, etc...? :-k
I don't have an absolute definition but I was going for song which are generally over 5 minutes and a have a kind of reputation for being epic. Also, a lot of them like Paranoid Android and Stairway To Heaven have different sections in the song.
A lot of the Iron Maiden closers tend to be considered epics:
Hallowed Be Thy Name from The Number of the Beast
To Tame a Land from Piece of Mind
Rime of the Ancient Mariner from Powerslave
Alexander the Great from Somewhere in Time
Mother Russia from No Prayer for the Dying
Teeth Like God's Shoeshine- Modest Mouse. Maybe it's not as well known as some of your selections, but I've always thought epic is a good way to describe this song.
Happiness is a Warm Gun by The Beatles
In the Shadow of our Pale Companion by Agalloch
Hello and Goodbye by Tim Buckley
Only Skin by Joanna Newsom
Oh Comely by Neutral Milk Hotel
Sing About Me/I'm Dying of Thirst by Kendrick Lamar
Desolation Row by Bob Dylan
Will post when I think of more.
100 Years of Choke by World's End Girlfriend
Dambala by Exuma
Interstellar Overdrive by Pink Floyd
Little Red Robin Hood Hit the Road by Robert Wyatt (though the whole album, Rock Bottom, is pretty epic)
Lots of Godspeed! You Black Emperor Songs
Lots of Sigur Ros songs
Lots of Talk Talk songs
Post rock is just really epic.
Thick as a Brick by Jethro Tull
Drip Drip by Comus (creepy, insane...the whole album is also pretty epic though)
