No contest. I like The National and all, but Talk Talk is in another league.

Yeah not much in the way of post punk 😕

I went with Talk Talk because I quite like 'The Party is Over' and 'The Colour of Spring', which are broadly speaking post-punk!

I have abstained. This is not really a postpunk match by my book. Strictly speaking, I prefer Talk Talk on the strength of Laughing Stock and Spirit of Eden though.

Talk Talk's first two albums were New Wave (which is also part of this tourney).

The National have the sensibilities of Post-Punk (deep vocals, lyric structure etc.)

This one is a hard choice.

I think it is easy to get carried away in what is new and exciting like the National. The Boxer, High Violet, and Trouble Will Find Me are all very solid; but I gotta go with Talk Talk, my mind might change by the time The National is over though...

OK, so I can't even vote for my nomination here. The Colour Of Spring (which is obviously new wave) alone is better than everything The National ever did IMO. Sorry, nomination 🙁
