Shit. this is really tough. Both have had long brilliant careers. Both highly influential. The first 3 recors by both artists are as good as it gets. Gonna go with Wire for releasing a phenomenal album this year

Wire definitely fit into the post-punk canon. Elvis, maybe a bit of new wave and post-punk.

Wire has it for me.

Again, voting against my nomination. God knows I love Costello to death, but here it is Wire. Like Cellar said, if it weren't for Joy Division, Wire should win.
