This isn't a bad idea, especially for lesser known albums that can't be found on sites such as Wikipedia, but it would be very time consuming to go back and add lengths of time to all the albums and tracks in the sites database.
It's an interesting suggestion. _________________
Hello all just suggesting that there should be information available on each song/album on how long the song/album lasts in minutes?
I'd love to have the info here as it would also help validating the minimum length of albums that appear on BEA. I'm happy to add to the list, but as suggested the main problem will be back-populating the database with all of the info.

Another problem could be that there is some conflict over the length of some songs.
I think what OChurch is saying is that the length of a certain track can vary on different albums, from studio albums to compilations, live albums, even re-releases and so on, meaning certain tracks could have numerous different values of length depending on which album they're in I guess. Looking through my music now I can see examples of this from numerous artists, such as Ramones, Bob Marley, Nirvana and so on. _________________
I don't really see the point in wasting time creating something that could easily found on Wikipedia in seconds.
It would take hours to implement this, when those hours have already been spent elsewhere online.
It's my view that this site is for ranking music, not to become yet another music database.
