Well I'm literally just home from seeing Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, they know how to put on a show. I'm sure there are plenty though, all depends on your tastes really, well most of the time anyway.

Seeing Michael Schenker live was the greatest musical experience of my life. To fair, I was front row and while he solo'd he held his guitar up to me.

In no particular order:

Muse - seen live 5 times
Mutemath - seen once
Flaming Lips - seen once
Kasabian - seen once at a festival
Birds Of Tokyo - seen twice

There are probably others but for the moment, these are great live bands whose material is better live.

Everyone should see Steel Panther live. Whether you like glam metal or not. Their shows are always funny as fuck and you're probably going to see tits there.

Honestly, The Avett Brothers put on a great show, I love their concerts. I go as often as I can.

I also saw Jack White and he put on a fantastic show, he was just so full of energy.

The Black Keys put on a great show too.

Man, I hate you people. All I get to see live are fucked up local bands. And I love them, but I would give anything to see MBV, or Radiohead, or Sigur Ros, or whatever around here.
Oh, and the best concert I've been was Charlie Brown Jr. last year THAT WAS FUCKING AWESOME
