This is the best idea for a forum thread ever.

I recently heard an radio advert for the Volvo V40 car comparing it to the Mercedes A-Class that said something along the lines of: "Bored of German Techno? Try Some Swedish Metal." This is obviously a pun on the cars themselves and genres of music.

But, which do you prefer?

Well considering that the album I just posted for ALC is swedish metal... I vote swedish metal.
Didn't vote with the cars in mind because I really don't know shit about cars.

I love how you actually used the word "techno" as an umbrella term for electronic music as a whole.

It makes you look so intelligent.

I was quoting the advert. I personally wouldn't use the term.

Well as far as those two cars go, the Volvo far outclasses the Mercedes. Mercedes is easily Germany's shittiest car company.

As for the music genre, probably German techno. I honestly haven't heard very much Swedish metal though. If it's anything like Finnish metal, then I might enjoy it Laughing
