The only Disney song I can think of that really appealed to me was "When You Wish Upon a Star." Nice melody, w/dreamy lyrics... but even that is borderline treacle. I like a lot of Disney films, but tend to avoid the musicals.
A) Part of me can't believe this is n actual thread.
B) That was the last thing I'd expect Jason to like since that's one of the least heavy Disney songs I know.
C) Either A Whole New World or Friend Like Me, both from Aladdin.
"Be Prepared" from The Lion King and "I'll Make A Man Out Of You" from Mulan are my favorite sing-a-longs, but I think my actual favorite song from a Disney movie is "Under The Stars", an instrumental, part of Hans Zimmer's score for The Lion King. In the movie, it plays from around the time Rafiki hits Simba with the stick through Simba running through the pride lands back to pride rock. _________________ 51 Washington, D.C. albums!
