These two records couldn't be more different. earth tones vs vibrant color. Surprisingly I have never been able to appreciate Nickel Creek as much as I'd expect to. Afrirampo was wild and wonderful. Really happy to have heard that one.

Afrirampo is probably my favorite discovery from the tourney so far. Nickel Creek was good though. I like how the albums seem to be polar opposites of each other. Vote definitely leaning towards Afrirampo. Pikachu the drummer clinches it

Son of a bitch I probably should have checked on this a while ago. Oh well if anyone discovered Nickel Creek for the first time than it was a success. A truly original and immensely talented band.
