Would anybody be interested in a Best Debut Album Tournament? It appears not to have been done yet.

Yeah, but you'd have to wait a while. There's 3 tournaments going on and a 4th that'll probably start as soon as I submit my 1969 team.

Yeah, I wasn't planning to start it up right away. I just wanted to gauge interest.

I'd be happy to see this, though not right now for reasons already stated. The first thing that popped into my head was Wu-Tang. Would the various solo members' debuts count, or would it just be 36 Chambers?

I'd personally count the solo member's debuts. If we have to make sure each artist in the tourney hasn't released anything as a band before, I think it'll be quite tiring.

Anyway, what is a little sad is that we all know VU&N will win...

Yeah, they'd count. Basically, as long as it's the first album released under a particular artist name it will count.

lol, I deleted it from the stickied threads...but since there'd only be 3 matches left...I suppose it wouldn't be too hard to resurrect.
