How do you feel about this lovely band. The more I am listening to their album the greater the joy I am finding ๐Ÿซข Oh my the treasures they throw down upon us are most gold and bountiful. Love is all around with their vocals and the video to Little Talks was one of my favorite in a long time.

Enjoy.

The first time I heard Little Talks I burst out in laughter. They just kind of feel like a mediocre indie folk band to me in the vein of Mumford And Sons. Never been too interested.

Just another creation of the recent "pop indie folk" boom, they've never done anything I find vaguely interesting.

I'm not hearing the Mumford And Sons at all. Maybe the vocalist is throwing me off? Feels like island music rather than farm music. ๐Ÿคฃ

Saw these guys live actually awhile back actually (Sometime last year) by chance which led to me checking out their album, Little Talks is pretty catchy and fun, but I really can't remember the other tracks standing out as much. I'll probably check out the album again due to this thread.

They don't offend me but I'm not a fan. Same goes for Bastille, just pretty bland.

They're a good band with an Arcade Fire-y sound. My Head Is an Animal is in my top 10 for 2011, a competitive year.

Was introduced to them via a radio DJ when Little Talks was released as a single. He called them "the new Arcade Fire," to which I thought "what the fuck happened to the old Arcade Fire?" I actually did like the song though. All in all a good band. Oddly enough they at times have reminded me in some way of the New Pornographers. Maybe the only decent thing to come from the whole indie folk fad.
