i would love to have the opportunity to scroll my ratings for songs in a said year the same way i today have the opportunity to scroll my justin bieber-ratings, please. thank you

Seconded. I tend to keep my collections and all my lists in chronological order. It's the only way to sort music that makes any real sense to me.

while i'm at it, and since christmas is at hand; i would also love an expansion on the top rated band-list. of course most of all i'd like it to include all artists on this site, but how about top 1000. top 200, which we have today, is far too small for my needs. also it should change it's name to top rated artists. justin bieber is not a band.

Apologies, I don't quite understand what you are meaning here. If you mean the ability to sort your song ratings, you can do this from your ratings history from this page http://www.besteveralbums.com/fav.php?m=v&l=u&oid=19698&t=r&o=t and clicking 'rating' in the header section of the table., but you can't currently filter this table by year. Which section of the site can you do this already for albums?

No, Christmas is not far off 😉 The band chart could definitely be increased without too much trouble and the 'band' moniker should really be changed across the whole site & not just on that one page (to be consistent). I'll add this to the list too.
