What do you guys think about the new Arcade Fire song debuted in SNL yesterday. For me it seems pretty amazing even though it´s just the live version.

Are we going to do this for every new Arcade Fire song? Why not just resurrect one of the thousand threads already dedicated to them?

He's channeling David Byrne at the beginning of that one.

But yeah, a new thread for each Arcade Fire song is a bit excessive.

Didn't really care for it. Most disappointing song of the night. The real magic happened in their post-SNL special. All three of the songs they debuted (Here Comes the Night Time, We Exist, and Normal Person) were killer and the cameos were excellent. Not to mention the whole thing was just visually magnificent.

Btw, so glad to see Sarah again. Not sure where she stands as far as being a member of the band anymore, but having her missing from the Reflektor video and artwork was sad for me.

Think that they walk through the way of Radiohead though it sounds much different. hope they don't, Their first album is still my favourite.

We can do it for A new single, especially a single by one of BEA's top ten bands.

There was a thread for the last song too. Why not just have one Arcade Fire thread? That way we can keep discussions about each new mediocre release in one easy-to-find place, and stuff that other people might want to talk about isn't pushed even further back through the forum's pages.

I was baffled the first time I saw this; I believe my thought process was as follows;

"WTF? Bono?.....Oh this is a good song....... Is that Michael Cera speaking Spanish?......How did?....I dunno.....hahahaha"
