Has anyone ever played this wonderful game before? I'm talking about the Sid Meier's game. I played it a lot when I was younger.

Do we have any other fans of the game here? If you say 'Yes' this means you're fantastic and automatically in Outlaw's good books ๐Ÿ˜‰ Perhaps more so if you have played the 4th game in series. 2 & 4 are the best.

What did you like best about the game?
What is the best you have ever done?
Do you think you could beat me on it?

So yeah, Civilization 2 thread ๐Ÿ˜„

Yeah, this was the one. Wasted many hours on it. For some reason the sequels didn't interest me. Don't remember the details, though.

Holy crap. I spent HOURS playing this damn game. 20 minutes would become 4 hours in a blink. Did I forget to eat? Shower? See the sun?

Civ 3 was just as bad for addictive qualities. After that, I lost interest - I'm not sure if the games got worse, or I just got a life.

I fucking LOVE Civilization!! I've only played IV and V, and definitely prefer IV.

Like Civ IV was my pastime of choice from 2005-2010. Straight up.

So yeah, good memories. I still fuck wit V every now and then. I just set it up on my little brother's computer last night!

CIV is the crack cocaine of games!

I've lost days of my life battling barbarians for world domination. Like Revolver I like CIV IV best

I started with Civ I, went through all the way to V, plus also an authorized Linux version called "Call to Power". I've played huge worlds and tiny worlds. Only problem is by the time I get good enough with one version the next version.

Two had a feature that, if memory serves, only one other version had (but I can't remember which one). You finish the game, and then you can watch a replay of the game on a map of the world. You see your empire and others expanding and then (if you were successful) you see the other empires shrink while yours continues to expand. That was my favorite part of any version.

Loved this game too. I spent many hours playing Civ 1 at uni. After that, the graphics got too fancy and the game-play was over-complicated

CivIV here. I've failed courses thanks to Sid Meier.

I think it had something like a warning when you played like more than four hours or sth.

I loved that... Took tremendous satisfaction in watching my empire grow and absorb like an amoeba.
