I've mentioned this elsewhere but I want a more formal way to ask: Am I the only one that's noticed this? There's a lot of what I've referred to as "neo-disco" out there and I'm curious if I'm overjudging or its a real thing. Also, if it is a real thing, what are thoughts on it? Good songs from it?
There's been minor moves in this direction for a couple of years now. One of the best examples is Hercules and Love Affair, especially their debut album from 2008. A great DFA produced disco album with some of the best vocal performances of the decade.

Literally came here to post this. Their debut is gold. Well anything Antony touches (or which touches Antony) is gold, but this is particularly golden.
