Do we have any Avicii fans here? ๐ They get played a lot on the radio right now. I have their album and there are many fantastic songs. It's like... music for going places. Walking around. I think they had loads of other songs before they released the first album. Not heard most yet. May have to if they are as good as the album. I'll add it to BEA now. While I do so check out these songs:
Wake Me Up is easily the worst song I've heard all year, the first time I heard it I thought it was a joke. I can't even think about it without getting annoyed.

I quite like Avicii. And i agree with the above. It is music for doing things or going places. The first time I heard Wake Me Up was in the midst of a month in the summer where I went on a lot of trips so I guess I associate it with that. I went mountain biking for the first time and when we were done we went to this gorgeous lake to swim/cliff jump. In between my friends and I listened almost exclusively to Wake Me Up and Radioactive. Just jammin out having a good time. Thats why I like Avicii i think. Its just about having a good time.

Its weird, Wake Me Up was alright the first time I heard it, but both of those songs have been played to CRAP on my local station (and it's an alt/indie station too!)
IDK, though, cuz I definitely have several of his songs (Superlove, Levels, I Could Be The One, X You) in my favorite electronic playlist. Just not a fan of this album, I guess ... _________________
not teally a fan of his work in general, and I would never put it in my ipod, but he has some great party tunes. That whole album, whatever is calles, is always played at parties and clubs, and I enjoyed it.
I'm having trouble liking the whole EDM new genre. It jus seems like every single artist (swedish house mafia, alesso, etc) use the same formula without being inventive at all. But hell, those tunes are the new stuff that took over the World, they must be doing something right _________________ "Hurry Up, We're Dreaming"
