Cat Power is really, truly fantastic, but Wiley invented a whole genre and has continued to make music better than the vast, vast majority of his peers and proteges in the twelve or thirteen years since. He won't win here, or come close, but I urge everybody to check out the Godfather of Grime. He was the RZA of Roll Deep, grime's very own Wu-Tang Clan. His instrumentals still hit harder than anybody else's, and his rhymes still ring clearer. I come from a time when most of my grime was taken one song at a time from Limewire, but I'm sure Geevy could point you all in the direction of the best album to start with.
