Yeeeeees, some really uncool AOTD recently. This one is great, though. Full of rage, catchiness, and powerful guitar riffs. Also, there is Slash on this record.

I've actually never listened to this in its entirety. I shall get to it as soon as I'm done with Exuma.

The singles are dope. Can't stomach the whole thing though.

This. Guns N' Roses- like Oasis, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Queen and U2- are a band that creates great singles, but can never seem to create turn that into great albums. Sometimes I feel like those bands get acclaim mainly for the singles that come with the albums, rather than with the albums as a whole.

I used to like it a lot. I still love "Welcome to the Jungle" and can dig "Sweet Child o' Mine" every now and again. Slash's guitar work is also dope throughout.
That being said, the lyrics, vocals, and overall songwriting are pretty off-putting for me. My current rating for this album is 30/100 and I feel like that's pretty accurate.
Oh, and I fucking hate "Paradise City". Worst song on the album by a long shot.
