Red Snapper are probably the best thing to come out of the whole acid Jazz scene. I'd say Making Bones was their best album.

You'd probably do well to check out Ruckus by Galactic, In Between by Jazzanova, Do You Like My Tight Sweater? by Moloko, Road to Freedom by The Young Disciples and The Brand New Heavies by The Brand New Heavies.
