What about include the information for live albums too? Such as compilation tag...
I'm always using BEA for discover new bands and I prefer start with the studio records.
So would be great not need to use other sites or websearch to avoid live albums. And beyond that would increment database.

I think community made tags are being added at some point, so live albums should be able to be labelled pretty easy.
If not, it'd still be a neat addition.

I think it is a good addition, the same way that if you wanna only live albums become more easy to find.

I like the idea, though what would we do in the cases like Ummagumma? (granted there are few such cases)

There are actually several albums that are split between live and studio. There are also live compilations, so that would have to be considered as an option as well.

I'm in favour of adding this at some point & it has been something that has been suggested before http://www.besteveralbums.com/phpBB2/vi...php?t=7095
As always, it's just a time constraint holding this back, & prioritising this amongst many other equally important changes.
