The Dark Side Of The MoonUnited Kingdom Pink Floyd
They say the best albums grow on you, and most of my favourites have grown on me over the course of a couple of years. However, this album has grown on me along the course of, say, over a decade. It keeps getting better and better over such a long period of time. Perhaps this is why I see this as my favourite album ever. It has gotten to the point where this has now (as of Jan 2019) knocked off OK Computer from my top spot, which had been my favourite album since some time around 2006ish when I was in college. I listened to this album for the first time in around 2006 as well and thought it was great, but not the best ever, not by a long stretch. Fast forward to a particular listen recently and I felt like there was nothing better than this.

In RainbowsUnited Kingdom Radiohead
At the time of writing (April 2019), this has just risen to number 2 in my list. I think this is the most beautiful album Radiohead have ever done. There is not one single underwhelming track on here, they all fit perfectly with each other. The atmosphere is absolutely spot on. Dare I use the word 'perfect'?

OK ComputerUnited Kingdom Radiohead
As I said above on Dark Side of the Moon, this was my favourite album of all time for nearly 13 years until only just recently. Unlike DSOTM though, I remember this being an instant hit with me, rather than a slow burner. I'd heard all the hype as a teenager in the mid 2000s about this album, so giving it a listen seemed like a logical thing to do. It was love at first sight (listen?). Perhaps Electioneering is the reason for this falling down ther list (nothing major against the song, its just nothing extraordinary compared to the other tracks, and yes that includes Fitter Happier, which I feel fits in perfectly with the rest of the album). It has also fallen below In Rainbows for me now, that album is more beautiful than this and has a touch more class about it, not that this isn't classy.

Definitely MaybeUnited Kingdom Oasis
As exciting as British rock n roll has ever been. And this was also once my favourite album when I was a teenager (from about 2003-2006). This is almost perfect (Damn that bloody lasagna song! Although it still fits in well).

The live version of this album, recorded at Abbey Road studios with an orchestra and performed in front of a small audience, is even better. I love the lyrics on this album.
