Before this year I had never heard of Mom Jeans. even though they're a local band from Berkeley. This is their first release and honestly it blew me out of the water. Best Buds is an incredibly fun and energetic release

As brother of ex Dance Gavin Dance vocalist Kurt Travis, Paul is a great up and coming solo artist. Braille is a fantastic alternative/acoustic record with a unique sound. Travis' smooth, echoing vocals combined with delicate instrumentation creates a chill vibe with a somber feel. His lyrics are deeply emotional and are filled personal messages. Every word Travis sings obviously means so much to him and you can definitely feel it.
