Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 88.2/100, a mean average of 88.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 88.9/100. The standard deviation for this track is 13.9.

I’d say, with a fair bit of distance, Heaven & Hell is the best post-Ozzy Black Sabbath song. And possibly the best and most lasting piece of music Ronnie Dio ever recorded.
Perfect riff from Iommi. Good vocals. Strong melody line. Nice balance between hard rock parts and less heavy parts.

Um imenso clássico do rock!

An epic first-side closer! The combined bass/guitar riff sets the mood and Dio comes in with a killer vocal.

A instant classic for Black Sabbath and Ronnie James Dio. The riff is one of the greatest and is perfect for a live environment in which people can sing along with it. The lyrical content is also some of Dio's best work in which he claims that our lives now are both heaven and hell and is just what we make of it.
