One of the coolest most unique songs ever, top tier Floyd song that truly helped me get into them and just most interesting music in general.

A truly amazing transition from SOYCD 1-5. This song is spacious sounding, with its dark theme, that really solidifies this as one of the best songs on this album. Truly underrated

When Shine on you crazy diamond ends I am always happy to know Welcome to the Machine is next. This is a major achievement. Most songs fall flat after Shine, this doesn't for me. At all.

After almost 15 minutes of build up and hopefull messages it goes straight in this dark song. The background sounds really add to this "big" song
