Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 89.0/100, a mean average of 86.6/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 89.2/100. The standard deviation for this track is 17.3.

It’s simply a great song. Well structured, pleasant to listen to and sweet melodically, anthemic without trying to be a *stadium jam rocker*.
What’s more, I’ve come back to this song almost 20 years now, and Slash’s guitar solo still leaves me completely baffled. It is as well-built as the song itself.

The tenth most iconic song ever (according to research, see my chart of most iconic songs https://www.besteveralbums.com/thechart.php?c=62924).

Marcou a história do rock e do Guns!
Amazing song. One of the best songs ever made, and a standout late 80s hit. From the main riff, the heavy, slow solo, Axl's vocals, the accompanying bass-drum rhythm, such a well-constructed song. A classic for sure.

Awesome song, one of my favourites.
One of their best
I know it's just a finger warming-up routine that Slash used to do but for me it works exceedingly well. When rock gets complicated it's not really rock-n-roll anymore as far as I'm concerned.
I love the fact that Axl/GN'R never shied away from sounding BIG and EPIC. That's what hard rock's all about, IMO.
It's only because of the well written lyrics that this song is bigger than Welcome to the Jungle.

I'd love this song so much more if it weren't so overplayed.. incredible song though. Slash is a god on this one.
