Such a beautiful song. Really interesting how Gilmour does the singing parts while Waters does the talking parts that seem to progress the story of the concept album.

This is one out of really many songs of "The Wall" that have a really big emotional impact on me. I actually don't like the piano that's introduced in the "If you should go skating on the thin ice.."-part, it makes the song sound silly in a way, but it's fortunately saved by Gilmour's haunting solo.
