Well, now that it's over....
Good game. Saoirse (the member formerly known as Another Green World 2), you were a worthy opponent and put up a great team. I congratulate you on your victory. 👏
Also, I've been listening to Hospice a few times lately, and I admit, it's a great album. 🤤 I dissed The Antlers in a posting I did a while back on another thread. I take it back now. 🫢
I've also listened to that Grizzly Bear album... and I gotta tell you, I really don't get the appeal of that band yet. I hear mostly arty farty soundscapes and very little song composition, which is what I prefer. Maybe I'm missing something. I'll keep trying, but right now, I perceive it as boring self-indulgent music. Sorry.
In a way, I'm glad about the result because I think we can finally put the oldest year always wins / the 2000's are unappreciated theories to bed. Can we finally, please? 🙏
