I don't remember how they sound like at all, all I remember it listening to them and not liking them, I'll give Talk Talk another go.

Spirit of Eden and Laughing Stock are both great. Spirit of Eden is slightly more consistent though.

The actual best. I actually like their new wave stuff nearly as much as their later masterpieces.

Spirit of Eden and Laughing Stock sound like nothing else. It is amazing how the band evolved from their early records.
