Finally got around to completing my 2000s chart after tackling each year individually. I still feel it needs some fine tuning and I'm sure there's plenty of stuff I've overlooked. Top 100 Music Albums of the 2000s
Got the courage to make my overall chart 1 album per artist
Nothing to be afraid of. Your chart is awesome. As an American, it's great to see charts from people from other countries. Your Brazlian picks give me some new records to explore.
Was interesting to see you say "A" E O "Z" is your favorite Os Mutantes record. For some reason I've always overlooked that one. They're playing here in New York tomorrow. _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

Hey thanks for your comment, I'm glad you liked the chart! Brazil has such a large amout of quality music, and I think it's overlooked by most people even here in Brazil.
Mutantes are like my favourite band ever, it's such a shame they rarely play on Brazil, my dream is to see them live (although this new formation is not quite the same thing), but that really bugs me out, I think since I was born they never came to my city , and I live in the capital of the country (????)

That's a shame. I can't believe they don't play in Brazil more often. Is it a political thing? I've seen them twice. And even though it's a different formation and they've aged a bit, they still put on an amazing show. _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

I've read an interview in which Sergio Dias said that he has the will of playing more in Brazil, but brazillian producers and record labels are not interested in that. He said "the public is on our side, but they (record labels and producers) have no interest on us". He also said something about brazillian record labels wanting to restrict their creative freedom.
That just does not make sense to me, c'mon the guy is a legend
