It's also heavily influenced by The Stranglers and Wire... that album is just one bloody exercise in plagiarism. Kind of fun, but I wouldn't count it as among the best of the era.

I think the obvious picks (Blur, Oasis, Pulp) have already been done to death. But has anyone thrown James into the mix yet? In my opinion, they're probably the most underrated Britpop band! 😁
