I don't get how Boston is an "uncool" choice. As far as classic rock goes, these guys were some of the best.

Really? he only made one other solo album. I prefer Madcap but Barrett is also amazing. _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

Oh, true. I guess Opel doesn't really count as a studio album...
But I still prefer Barrett to Madcap All three are incredible releases though. I voted for Madcap in the end. _________________ Doubles & Conch

Right on. I own Opel on vinyl. It's so good. _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

Boston (on their self titled debut) created some of the best vocal and instrumental harmonies I've heard to date. I think they do harmonies just as good as King's x (who I feel are masters at this). Honestly, I could listen to the singles all day long off that album. They've proven to be some of the best sounding songs I've heard. Madcap Laughs is ok, but is no where nearly as good as Boston.

This. But my vote remains with Madcap Laughs.

A totally deserved victory. Super happy about this, of course.
