Didn't realise this was back up and running, a separate thread is pretty essential to the whole thing imo. I'll listen in the next couple of days.

Sorry then. Thought doing an easy version (Album Listening Club Lite, if you will) would get everything back on track. Doesn't seem to have worked.

Someone go next. Meccalecca seemed to have a good one in mind.

I've already had a turn, so someone else should probably go.

If people are interested in listening to some ambient shoegaze, I'd recommend :

Ghost Colored Halo by Lovesliescrushing

lovesliescrushing are back with the same ethereal sound as on their previous releases, but they're definitely masters at it. Calm, relaxing, meditative.

Nothing groundbreaking, but a pretty album nonetheless.

Listened, and loved. It's already made its way onto two of my charts: Best 2013 albums at number 15, and best 2010's albums at number 41.

Which makes this the second ALC suggestion that's gone into my charts, the other being meccalecc's rec: Friend Roulette's "I'm Sorry You Hit Your Head"

Finally got a hold of this album, and I have to say, I like it. Like you said, nothing groundbreaking, but it's still a very pretty album, really envelops you if you let it.

Also, side note: DON'T LET THIS DIE.
