Chart talk

Just thought to create a thread where everyone can discuss about user charts in this site. Personally I created a little Top 10 overall chart a couple of months ago, had some unexpectedly positive feedback and while I am not sure if I will change it in the future I deleted it so that my new one would be extended to 50 entries. This doesn't make much sense, I know, but I'm seriously rediscovering 10-15 albums I have not yet rated and ranked in my overall "Albums I have listened to" list and it's possible to have at least one new entry to this Top 10 of mine, so Urban Hymns will be kicked out or not... Still, I had to do it to make this necessary extension of my chart in the future.

Just finished a series of long overdue updates to my overall chart, check it out, I'm very pleased with it.

Also i'm getting ready to update my Punk chart again(link's in my sig),so I'd be happy to take some recs.

I made a chart with a silly rule. Only albums within the top 5,000. Also that 1 album per artist thing. I assume it's what BEA wants. If it isn't, then tell me, as I'd like to know.

hahaha. that's a funny idea. It's hard to imagine that some of these are actually in the top 5,000

Going through the top 5k, the first surprise was Good Morning Good Night at 3,190, which blew my mind. Almost as surprising was finding Instrumental Music of the Kalahari San at 3,972, which only has 5 ratings.

The following has nothing to do with punk rock music, but I'd like to know your opinion on DJ Yo-Yo Dieting's "Dormant Mirrors / Drum" album.

I ought to give recs more often, so I'm starting with that. It's on grooveshark, but I also have it uploaded on adrive.

I'll be sending you some Mecca Lecca stuff soon. There's about 4 records basically 1 step away from being done. No new Ajnabi yet though.
