I'm glad they have this full album. "Wouldn't It Be Nice" is the best beach Boys song ever.

That's a really strange way to spell Heroes And Villains/Surf's Up/God Only Knows, but I'm not judging.

I'm listening to Czarface, shit is dope, I also listened to Hidden earlier today, which is still the shit.

Czarface by Inspectah Deck & 7L & Esoteric

Hidden by These New Puritans

Wouldn't It Be Nice is my favourite too, though I've only heard Pet Sounds. ๐Ÿ˜œ

Troubadour by Dorothy Carter
Best album ever. Overstatement, but still, this is really incredible.

Listen to The Smile Sessions next chance you get, it's one of the most beautiful lush albums ever made and blows away Pet Sounds, and I love both. Also watch Mushishi. Let me be a time vampire and just pile things that I want you to do onto you.

What if I listen to The Smile Sessions while watching Mushishi? ๐Ÿ˜ I was thinking about Mushishi (Hidamari Sketch too) earlier. I think I'll start watching it tomorrow, though don't take my word on that. Have you read the manga? I might want to try it too, if I can find it.

It'd probably be a glorious clusterfuck, and I haven't actually read the manga because I'm lazy and I don't know how much is translated, but I probably will at some point because there's more of that then there is the show, that being said season 2 of Mushishi is coming out in April and I'm fucking hyped as fuck.

Like my rap like I like my punk: quick, short, and a lil different. Any recs?

If you like Madlib's production on this, then I might suggest Jeremiah Jae and Oliver the 2nd's Rawhyde from 2013. It was a free mixtape, should be easy to find.

Is it on any of your charts?

Pet Sounds is a great album, but I think this is the listen when I find out why it's astounding. I never could reach that point with this album. Anyway, The Smile Sessions is great, but I put Surf's Up and Sunflower above it. I'm listening to a lot of Beach Boys lately. I've gone through fifteen albums (some multiple tries) in two weeks. Their music generally makes me feel good. Plus, they fill up my 60's chart. Actually, I'll update that chart now.

EDIT: That above post is funny, but it'll probabl get modded. ๐Ÿคฃ

Maybe I say fuck too much, it just is so natural to type, anyways, Mushishi is gonna be your jam man, most peaceful philosophical supernatural show I can think of. It's wonderful. Also watch Kino's Journey afterwords because it's beautiful and has a really similar feel.

Bizarrely on spotify. Thanks for the rec, though, liking it so far, especially the bass parts
