Don't be so sure yet. One interesting thing about the Beatles is that there is a polarized love for some of their biggest albums.
How do you plan to do the scoring?
Great idea, btw, would be interesting to see this done for Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Marvin Gaye, Coltrane, the Flaming Lips, Led Zeppelin, VU, Nick Drake, Bob Dylan... just about any popular artist would interest me, tbh.
Well, I feel I've done it enough times already, but here's one last ranking of Beatles studio albums:
1. Abbey Road
2. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
3. The Beatles (The White Album)
4. Rubber Soul
5. Revolver
6. Let It Be
7. Magical Mystery Tour
8. Beatles For Sale
9. Help!
10. A Hard Day's Night
11. Yellow Submarine
12. With The Beatles
13. Please Please Me
And now I'll be looking forward to do this with other artists. _________________ "The Beatles, the greatest band known to mankind." - Bismah Mughal
1. Please Please Me
2. Magical Mystery Tour (especially if we're including the singles)
3. Help!
4. Revolver
5. Rubber Soul
6. Sgt. Pepper's
7. The White Album
8. With The Beatles
9. A Hard Day's Night
10. Abbey Road
11. Beatles For Sale
12. Let It Be
(though I prefer the "Let It Be...Naked" version without Spector's production)
^This... Oh my god yes. Someone that agrees.

I agree with Facetious, you'll love Beatles For Sale. Even though I rank it as my least favourite it's still a really good early Beatles album. I'll Follow The Sun, What You're Doing, No Reply and I'm a Loser are all amazing songs.

Yes, sorry. Let It Be comes first.
Don't worry I tallied it up.

For the scoring I'm doing a reverse numerical aggregate with a slight weighting towards those who have listened to more of the artist's discography. It's simple but very fair. As for the artists, I plan to get to all of those listed too plus some other forum and site favourites too (and hopefully some more obscure bands eventually too). ๐ I'm glad people seem to be enjoying this! Sorry if I come across as too eager of a neophyte haha!

White Album
Revolver
Abbey Road
Rubber Soul
Let It Be (For Across The Universe alone)
Magical Mystery Tour (The US version with those classic singles)
1 (I know you are not considering it but it has all the essential non album singles from which some of them are far more important than any of their early albums)
Sgt Pepper (Meh)
With The Beatles
A Hard Day's Night
Beatles For Sale
Help (Their four first album are irrelevant to me so rank them as you wish)
Yellow Submarine (A regretable joke) _________________ This is the life we choose, the life we lead, and there is only one guarantee: None of us will see heaven. . .

In all honesty I considered putting up Past Masters, but I thought it would be unfair to rank a spectrum of singles across The Beatles career against their albums.
