Bit behind on ALC at the moment. I liked Ether though. Still digesting it in all honesty but a good pick.

Alright so first off holy shit can this guy write a hook. Whatever I say after this let my first statement be that I got reeled into even the few tracks I ended up disliking almost immediately, so he certainly has a knack for song-craft in that respect. Other than the hip-hop guest spot (which felt very odd. not bad just out of place) the album was fairly varied but still stayed within it's own comfort zone, which isn't a bad thing at all; Beaudreau knows what he's good at and does it very well; as a consequence the album did feel rather formulaic at times, but even if it did feel like Beaudreau was following his own songwriting handbook for every track, he spun it a different way each time, as a result there aren't (at least IMO) any real stand-out tracks, but the album excels in it's consistency (only dropping around the early middle). Only other qualm I can think of is it felt overproduced on a few tracks. But final analysis? I dug it. Great pick Rocky 😄
