Discovered this great album from Drakonium's chart. Been listening it sporadically over the past week. Less an album, more an exercise in electronic minimalism.
I'm glad you liked this! I'm not quite about the second part of your post, though. What do you mean exactly? There obviously is a minimalitic aesthetic throughout the album, but tbh I mostly hear pop songs when listening to it (hence me loving it, I'm not at all on the experimental / avant-grade side of things (yet? (one hopes))). If I saw it as an exercise in whatever rather than an album, I certainly wouldn't like it that much. That said, what you've written doesn't sound absurd in the least either so I'd just like you to elaborate if you don't mind. Or maybe I've just taken your post too seriously xD
More and more delicious. The flow is still what holds this from being a masterpiece, he seems to be aiming for a monotonous-sounding, unpredictable Mobb Deep-like style, but doesn't quite manage to do it as greatly IMO. The beats, though, are some of the best I've heard, like, ever. The drum in The Finest is stellar. Whatever, truly great record.

Id also like to state that MF Doom has this nice habit of being really loud to the point that it can be pretty straining on you as a listener. Though the Dangerdoom stuff is a lot more interesting (to me) but this record is still in my favorites of the genre with all of the few problems I have with it.
