One of the biggest Pixies fans around and the new album didn't sound offensive or trite to me at all. It just wasn't their original output; almost reminds me of a more controlled Teenager of the Year
Been obsessed with this and Kassem Mosse's latest for the past week. Two fantastic house albums that put Todd Terje's turgid new butter-knife neo-disco effort to shame. Just don't tell the critics.

TBH I only have heard the singles (didn't want to listen to a leak as Pixies have such a raw sound I get the feeling it would sound bad in a low quality rip). I'm still going to listen to it but it seems rushed and surface level. It just doesn't have any impact for me.
