The Eagles third album finds them moving away from country and more towards rock. The results here are very good. Don Felder makes his first appearance, and even though it's only on two songs, it's significant. They cover Tom Waits nicely (Old '55), and the title track is maybe their most underrated song. _________________ I'm leaning on the threshold

This was the last album by INXS before the suicide of Michael Hutchense. Part of his depression came from the fact that this album did not sell well at all. Truth is...it's not a bad album at all. Yes, the world had passed INXS by at this point, but there are some really great moments on this album. A pleasant surprise. _________________ I'm leaning on the threshold

Saw this band opening for Rose Hill Drive at The Troubador in LA back in '06. They blew RHD off the stage, and I've been a fan ever since. Not as memorable as Den Of Thieves...but still a fine album. _________________ I'm leaning on the threshold

Funny you mentioned Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, that's definitely my album of the day. Just bought it this week, and it's quickly climbing my list of best albums ever.
Billy Burnette who? Billy Burnette has released 15 solo albums to date, and was a member of Fleetwood Mac from 1987 through 1995. He's the son of Dorsey Burnette of The Rock & Roll Trio. Are You With Me Baby is a straight rockabilly album. He's quite an accomplished guitar player and songwriter, and this album is solid all the way through. _________________ I'm leaning on the threshold

Without Dave Mason, The Low Spark is almost all Steve Winwood and Jim Capaldi. With only 6 tracks, three of which are over 7 minutes long, they stretch out nicely and show off their considerable talents. Perfect music for a Tuesday. _________________ I'm leaning on the threshold

One of the most influential records that a punk band in history that just so happened to influence and open doors for metal subculture (thrash metal in particular) to progress beyond heavy psych and blues-rock conventions. Itโs a sort of loud and noisy assault on your senses and all in a good way.

I forgot how great this album is until a re-listen today. Bought sometime in the 80's - a cut-out LP priced at $2.99, it was my introduction to his music. Not a well-reviewed album, it is nevertheless my all time favorite Tim Buckley album. _________________ "And canโt you see youโre in on it?

Used to hate the sound of Roland Gift's voice, but I've learned to make it work in the context of what this band did. This is their second and last album. "She Drives Me Crazy" was everywhere at the end of the 80's, but there's plenty more worthwhile to recommend this album. _________________ I'm leaning on the threshold
